Many of you know me for my work in the mortgage industry, but outside of the office, one of my biggest passions is volunteering with PONY Baseball. This year, I’m deeply involved in hosting the PONY-13 World Series right here in Carlsbad, and we are bringing the world to our backyard!

We are welcoming incredible young athletes from all over the globe, and I am looking for a few organized, detail-oriented volunteers to act as Team Liaisons for four of our international teams: Japan, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and France.

If you love logistics, interacting with people from different cultures, and want to help ensure these kids have an unforgettable tournament experience, we need your help behind the scenes.

What you’ll be doing:
Coordinating & Scheduling: Managing the logistics for team meals, schedules, and daily timelines.
Communication: Acting as the main point of contact to keep the teams informed, organized, and on track throughout the tournament. (No driving or transportation duties required—just pure organizational support!)

The Details:
When: Thursday, July 30th – Monday, August 3rd.
Languages: Speaking Japanese, Spanish or French is a huge plus, but absolutely not a requirement.

This is a phenomenal opportunity to connect with people from different countries, support youth sports on an international stage, and be a crucial part of making this world-class event run smoothly.

An event of this scale is only made possible through the incredible generosity of businesses within our local community. We are also currently seeking local sponsors to help offset the costs of hosting these teams and ensuring they have a world-class experience in Carlsbad. If your business wants high-profile exposure at a major youth sports event while supporting a fantastic cause, we would love to partner with you.
