An Amazing day at the beautiful in Cupertino. I recently found out my parents know Paul and Maureen Draper from 40 years ago. Paul started making wine there in 1969 and continued for 40+ years and was influential in pushing for organically farming practices in vineyards that expressed true terroir. Paul shared a great story about Steve Kistler’s early days as an assistant winemaker at Ridge in the 1970’s....and the location of the story was an Occidental vineyard. Full circle ⭕️ now with I love ❤️ hearing the stories and grateful to Maureen and Paul and the team at Ridge Cupertino for taking such good care!! @ Ridge Vineyards
