If you're a renter... Why? Don't worry about rates. Worry that your rent will go up every year. Get in a 30 year fixed mortgage. Your monthly payment stays the same. Worried about housing prices... Why? Even if the market crashes, it will pass it's value well before its paid off. How do you get out of the rent-race? Do everything it takes to save for a down payment (I.e. get roommates, live with family, meal prep, stop buying things that deprecate in value over time).

Be proactive about your wealth management. You're either a "slave to the lender", or a "creator" of your finances. If you're a renter, you're throwing 💯% away! If you're a home owner, are you paying double the amount with higher interest? If you only own one home what are you doing with the equity? Are you letting it sit or are you putting it to work with a DSCR loan and having a renter pay your mortgage off for you? Things to think about. 🤓❤️🙌🚀

Real Talk From a Lender: 5 Star ratings means that the lender has an exceptionally superior track record for giving great rates and service. It doesn't mean that every single person will always be satisfied. Companies = grouping of humans/(not machines). That said, companies with efficient machine-like systems in place are what create 5 Star ratings, which means you'll almost certainly feel like you were treated like family everytime.

What's the most important factor in selecting a mortgage lender? Did you say "rate/cost"? That would be WRONG (although we have the best rates in the industry anyways). I'll explain in 2 moves: (1st) Even if you find a lender that is cheaper after you amortize it out for 30 years, you'll likely be talking about a savings of relatively a few dollars a month. (2nd) This is the most important; you want a competent lender that will make your transaction as painless as possible and close on time. The last thing you want is to lose a deal for a few bucks. Mark my words.
