San Antonio Citizens Federal Credit Union was chartered on December 12, 1955, in San Antonio, FL. We began serving members on January 3, 1956, and we’ve continued to do so successfully for over 65 years. We are the oldest financial institution in East Pasco County still operating under our original charter. Over the years, we’ve expanded to 4 locations; San Antonio, Dade City, Zephyrhills and Wes

ley Chapel. Our unrelenting desire to create financially successful members is what inspired our founders, Joe Collura, Joe Herrman and friends, to establish our Credit Union; and is the same guiding principle we live by today. Big news, please join us in welcoming Kelly Quintero as our new Chief Financial Officer! 👏

Kelly brings more than 15 years of financial leadership experience across credit unions and private equity firms, including nearly five years as VP of Finance at Grow Financial.

Originally from Colombia and bilingual in English and Spanish, Kelly moved to the U.S. in 2004 after earning her bachelor's degree in economics. After living in South Florida for many years, she now proudly calls Tampa home.

What excites Kelly most about joining our team?
“The purpose of our work. It’s to provide for our members and contribute to our community — doing something for the greater good.”

She’s passionate about helping drive growth, building a strong financial foundation, and creating even more opportunities and value for our members.

Known for her transparent, direct, and open leadership style, Kelly believes strong communication is key to strong teams.

And outside the office? She’s just as impressive!

Kelly has been married for 20 years, is a proud rescue dog mom to three pups, and loves combining travel with endurance sports. She’s completed TWO Ironman races and more than 15 marathons!

✨ Please join us in welcoming our new Chief Operating Officer!

Originally from Stayton, Oregon, our new COO brings an impressive background in banking, operations, technology, and leadership to the team. After earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Oregon State University, he began his career as a float teller, quickly realizing the financial industry was more than just a job, but a career path fueled by service and innovation.

His journey has included experience with organizations ranging from Key Bank to community banks and credit unions across the country. Along the way, he contributed to acquisitions and mergers, taught as an adjunct professor at Aurora Community College in Denver, and earned his MBA from West Texas A&M with a focus in Computer Information Systems. He is also a graduate of the prestigious Pacific Coast Banking School and holds an Executive Leadership Certificate from the University of Washington.

Most recently serving as VP of Operations at Champions First Credit Union, he brings more than five years of executive operational leadership experience and a passion for connecting technology with member experience.

“What excites me most is bridging the gap between technology and the member. Helping people manage their finances when and how they need to. I believe in thinking outside the box, finding ways to turn a ‘no’ into a ‘yes,’ and making a positive impact on our members’ financial lives.”

His leadership philosophy centers on empowering employees and bringing decision-making as close to the member as possible: “Find good people, grow good people, keep good people.”

Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, coaching basketball, traveling, and trying new foods.
