Responsibilities:

* Manage and maintain accurate financial records for assigned clients
* Perform regular reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts
* Prepare and review monthly financial statements
* Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
*Communicate effectively with clients to address their accounting needs
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices

Qualifications:

* 5-10 years of bookkeeping experience
* Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Experience with short-term rental clients is a plus, but not required

I have had some many questions regarding the need to send 1099’s. So thought I would post here.

🔑 If you have paid anyone who is not a corporation, you need to request a W-9.
🔑 If they indicate they are a sole proprietor, individual or LLC, you need to supply a EOY 1099.
💵 The threshold is anyone you have paid more than $600 in that year.
📪 Deadline to provide that document is 1/31!
