Can I give a little insurance advice that might save someone some money?

Today is Bereaved Mother's Day. It's not a day for presents or breakfast in bed or lunches out celebrating. It's a day to remember our children. To have others say their name.

My son's name was Mason. He died of unknown causes at 12 days old. The child rider on my husband's life insurance policy is the reason we could take the time we needed to grieve him the way we needed to. It is why I got into insurance to begin with.

If you have lost a child, I would like to remember them with you today.

Relaxing at an Airbnb this weekend and thinking about all the hosts who don't know their regular homeowners policy won't cover this. 😂 Short term rental owners need their own coverage -- and most don't find out until there's a claim.
