Today is Bereaved Mother's Day. It's not a day for presents or breakfast in bed or lunches out celebrating. It's a day to remember our children. To have others say their name.

My son's name was Mason. He died of unknown causes at 12 days old. The child rider on my husband's life insurance policy is the reason we could take the time we needed to grieve him the way we needed to. It is why I got into insurance to begin with.

If you have lost a child, I would like to remember them with you today.
