tric Code (NEC) standards. We take the greatest care to avoid damage to your roof and install a system that will withstand mother nature and the test of time. Our systems look good because we take great care to mount the system straight and square to the roof, trim racking to match the edges of your array, manage wires so they don’t hang down and rub on the roof. Wires hanging or lying on the roof can catch debris and cause roof damage. Finally, we test the system to ensure it is performing as designed, and check with you to ensure that you are fully satisfied. About us
Sustainable Positive Energy (SPE) was founded and is owned and operated by Bill Davis. A Salt Lake native, Bill attended The University of Utah and earned a B.A. in Business Management with a minor in Spanish. He’s spent much of the last 25 years working for a large investment firm. He’s also run his own handyman business since 2003 and has completed dozens of home remodels. In 2014, Bill decided to re-invent himself and after much soul-searching decided to go into the solar industry. It’s green, it’s the future, and it’s just the right thing to do ethically and for the environment. Bill attended Salt Lake Community College and completed their Solar Photovoltaic Installation Program. Bill says “Now, it’s time to put solar on every roof! Let’s make yours one of the first”

When you buy solar from SPE, you’re buying from a Salt Lake company that performs sales, design, and installation “in-house” so your money stays in the local economy. Other national firms pay low wages to door-knockers who canvas neighborhoods to generate leads, pay low wages to phone center employees who take and process orders. Then they design the system and hire outside firms to install it. We pay a living wage to local installers who’ve been trained with the highest quality techniques
