Total exterior makeover time! 🏡💥
We're officially purchasing this home in Salem and can't decide on the best design direction for the exterior! We need your help to choose. 👇
As you know, our standard look for an all-brick home is sharp and classic: Pristine Black shingles, black shutters, white windows, white gutters, a black storm door, and a black front door.
HOWEVER, this home has a twist! The original front is red brick (Pic 1), but it has a garage addition on the side with tan siding (Pic 2). We are concerned our go-to black elements might clash with the tan!
If this was your house, which combo would you choose to maximize its curb appeal?
1️⃣ Stick to the Playbook: Go with Pristine Black shingles and stark black features anyway (black and tan is a classic combo!?)
2️⃣ Soften the Look: Switch to Weathered Wood shingles to pull the warm tan and red brick together seamlessly.
3️⃣ Split the Difference: Go with Pewter / Charcoal gray shingles for a softer neutral that balances both sides.
What color roof and gutters would you do here?!?! Let us know by dropping a 1, 2, or 3 below! 👇
Or, if you have another idea, please share that as well!
