Attention Current Clients and New Clients We are 39 days away from tax season 📅 🗣️‼️
📌 Have or will your ID expire by January 1, 2024? If so, this is a friendly reminder to get a new one. We can not file your tax return with an expired ID.
📌 Do you have a copies or your original social security card for both yourself and your dependents? If not, now is the time to go and apply for a new one.
📌 Have you updated your address with your employer or previous employer? If not, I highly suggest you do that now. This can prevent lost w2s or delayed time receiving tax documents in the mail.
📌 For those of you who who are filing a business or 1099s make sure you are gathering invoices, receipts and other documents now for a smooth filing process.

TAX TIP 101‼️

Stop flooding the real, tax professionals DMs and phones with tax related questions that your CERTIFIED (no such thing) tax preparer should be able to assist you guys with.

Last year several people, too many that I lost count went elsewhere (was never my client) and after they filed their tax return their preparers were never available to answer their questions or provide them with any assistance. Y’all go to those that ghost you bc they add a few fraudulent credits on there but leave you stuck at the end. 🚫 Let’s work together maximizing your return the RIGHT WAY.

✨Your tax professional should be there from beginning to end. This year I am available for my clients and YALL clients again but this year I will have a consultation fee for anybody that’s not my client. Just file with someone from the start that you truly can trust and depend on. ✨

"Many are excited about the upcoming EITC credits, and I am too. Let me clarify how it works. Some tax preparers may mislead you into thinking you're automatically entitled to a specific amount on your return.

The amount you receive depends on your filing status, income, and household size. For example, if you're a W-2 employee with no dependents, filing as Single, your eligibility depends on your annual income. The eligibility requirements below listed informs you of the income amount and possible credit amount. So if you meet the income requirements you would be eligible for $600.

If you don't have taxes deducted from your paycheck, you'll owe them at the end of the year. Which will disqualify from the credit.

In simple terms, if you don't work, you won't benefit from these credits. Remember, 'If you don't work, you don't eat!'" 💰💼
