My 6 year old son loves just about every sport imaginable. Like most kids his age he would spend just about every waking moment of his young life playing, watching, or talking about a sport if we would allow it. This past spring and fall, I have helped coach my daughters soccer team. I am not the head coach and I am by no means an expert on soccer. In fact I stopped playing soccer in the 5th or 6th grade. But I played collegiate athletics, was a Captain in the US Marine Corps for 9.5 years, and am a father to 4 crazy kiddos. [ 586 more words ]

So let's face it, outside of tragic, unforeseen circumstances, our day to day life in this country is easy. We all complain about the weather, but 99.9% of the time, we are in 72 degree, dry, very hospitable conditions. Our homes in winter?? Heated to 70 degrees, in summer??? Cooled to 70 degrees. Earlier this summer, I jumped into the van to take the kids to the pool. As always, I started the car, the kids jumped in (music on), and I ran back into the house to grab the rest of our gear to load up. So I was confronted by my wife the other day about how much my son was spitting while playing outside. It, for some reason, was starting to drive her nuts. My initial reaction was, there are worse things, and it is no big deal. Fast forward about a week and I just came home from work, unloaded my truck as normal and walked through the garage into the house when I noticed a nice fresh pile of human spit on the ground in THE GARAGE!!! The Vestspire Group has completed a renovation on 407 Short St. in Dekalb, IL. The project took just over 60 days. It was completely gutted with new HVAC & electric. It is now available for purchase, rent, or rent to own. Also, a great opportunity for new investors to get your feet wet with a contract for deed. Pictures of before and after are included.

Big news from The Vestspire Group. As of 12/1, we now control a 12 unit apartment complex on the east side of Rockford, IL. We are also a month into a fix and rent project. More pictures to come in the next few weeks.
