Thank you to everyone who attended the 11th Annual Josh Lavalle Scholarship Benefit & Bocce Ball Tournament yesterday—or supported it in any way. It was a truly successful and joyful event. Josh would have been deeply touched to see such a meaningful tournament held in his honor. I was relieved the weather was absolutely perfect, despite a week of rainy forecasts!
A special thanks to my family and extended family, who worked tirelessly to plan and set up this event. It would never have come together so smoothly without their dedication. I feel incredibly blessed to be part of such a large, loving, and thoughtful family.
Funds raised will support:
-Wishes & More
-Pinky Swear Foundation
-College scholarships for Mounds View High School seniors through the Equity Promise Scholarship Program
-The Maverick Scholarship Fund for families in the Mounds View/Irondale Youth Hockey Association needing help with the high costs of the sport
Each of these organizations holds a personal connection to Josh, making your support all the more meaningful.
