Urgent Action: Canvassing in Kirkland and New Hartford

For the coming weekend October 24-25, there will be a satellite office of the Utica Democratic campaign office in the town of Kirkland (Clinton, NY).

There will be pre-cut turfs for the town of Kirkland (including some for the College Hill area) and the town of New Hartford. We’re asking folks to drop in and pick up one, to be finished this same weekend, please. Pick up your turf at 49 College Street in Clinton between 8 AM and 6 PM both days..

We have candidate palm cards and voter information slate cards. We also have a small collection of lawn signs. But canvassing is our main focus now!

If everyone assumes someone else will do the work, the work simply won't get donWith less than 2 weeks until Election Day, we're asking everyone who can to take just one canvassing shift. No experience necessary.

Please don't leave this work to someone else!

Where are knocking doors this weekend? There are GOTV launch sites in Kirkland ( for New Hartford & southern Oneida county towns, Rome & Utica. And even Little Falls for Herkimer County.

Join New York Democrats as we knock doors together in Little Falls! With the election right around the corner, it's crucial that we talk to our Democratic-leaning neighbors about how they're casting their ballot by Election Day. This work is how Governor Hochul, Blake Gendebien, and ALL down ballot....

We love this! Knocking doors is the number one way to reach voters, connect with them as human beings, listen to their concerns and make a personal ask for them to vote. We need YOU to volunteer to knock doors in Oneida and Herkimer counties. We have great candidates this year-- people who will truly serve their constituents and the public good. But... most people don't pay attention to politics. So when YOU knock on their door, that's the best chance to help them become voters!

Saturday, October 24 is the last day to register vote in NY and the first day of in person early voting. We call it "Golden Day." Are you willing to knock doors that day and ask people to go vote?

One million voter contacts in 10 weeks. Maine Democrats say they've knocked on 230,000 doors across 243 towns with just two weeks until Election Day. The party operates 25 field offices spanning all 16 counties to mobilize support for Jackson, Hannah Pingree, Dunlap, and Chellie Pingree.
