Spoiler Alert - It sounds scary, but the end is fantastic! You are not alone in home buying!
Short Story: My wife and I decided to buy our first home without any knowledge on the process. We knew we were over the apartment life but we weren't sure how to actually transition into purchasing. I didn't know what questions to ask. I didn't know if I needed a mortgage first, a home first, or a realtor first, and I definitely did not know how fast things move once you make this decision.
These are things that they don't teach you in school and things people do not do often enough to remember the details but THANKFULLY we had great friends to help us find what we were looking for. We were able to find and get a contract started on our home within 3 days of looking. YAY
