Happy 4th of July to our friends and customers!

Today is a day to celebrate your family, friends and freedoms…and while you do here are some fun Independence Day Facts!

🇺🇸Did you know that more Hot Dogs will be eaten today in America than on any other day. We like ours grilled and all the way! 🌭🌭

🇺🇸Did you know we spend more on Fireworks for July 4th than for any other occasion combined! $2.8 billion to be exact. That’s a lot of explosives 🎆🎇

🇺🇸Did you know, July 4th actually represents the day the Continental Congress adopted the Declaration of Independence, declaring America free from British rule and just how did the founding fathers celebrate? In a tavern of course! Where they dined on Beer, local favorites fresh seasonal produce, and seafood! Turtle soup, New England poached salmon, crab and shrimp being the favorite to John Adams while southerner James Madison enjoyed a big plate of Hoppin John and cornmeal hoecakes! Wonder what they would’ve thought of a cheeseburger…all the way of course? 🍔 🍔

Whatever your day consists of…on land or at sea we hope it’s celebrated safely!

Congratulations to our April and May giveaway winners!!

In April, for National Gardening Month we gave away this beautiful fern from The Berry Patch! We had over 30 entries and Mr. Jimmy Stricklin was our lucky winner!

And May was National Strawberry Month, we had over 100 entries and Mrs. Cindy Dawkins was the lucky winner of a gallon of fresh beautiful strawberries from The Berry Patch!

Wednesday we had our Grand Reopening/Customer Appreciation event and I want to thank everyone who came and saw us at our new location!

The signs are up, the doors are open and we are officially open for business!
