With kids heading back to school, Ohio drivers are getting a reminder: when a school bus stops, you stop. State troopers cited nearly 880 drivers last year for illegally passing stopped school buses. And since 2021, Ohio has seen more than 6,400 crashes involving school buses. Officials say slow down, stay off your phone and keep an eye out for kids at bus stops.

Help us create something special during the 2026 Sleepwalker Festival by taking part in our America 250-OH Paint-by-Number Community Mural!

Festival guests of all ages will have the opportunity to add their own piece to this one-of-a-kind mural celebrating our community and Ohio’s 250th anniversary. No artistic experience is needed—just choose a color, follow the numbered spaces, and help bring the mural to life.

This is a fun, hands-on activity and a chance to be part of a lasting piece of Rittman history. Below is a mock up of what our mural should look like completed!
