To our friends in Short Pump! For the month of June, we’re excited to offer a second drop-off location at the Hope House at Shady Grove UMC’s Pouncey Tract location.

If you're cleaning out closets or making room for summer, consider donating your new or gently used warm-weather clothing. We’re especially looking for casual clothing that is suitable for a school setting.

This donation opportunity is only through June 30, so don’t miss this chance to give. Simply drop your donations in the designated collection bin at the Hope House.

School's out, summer is here, and closets are getting cleaned out!

As you sort through what no longer fits, consider setting aside a few items for the Caring Closet. We are especially in need of a few key items this month and your donations help ensure children and families in our community have access to quality, free clothing.

Sweet dreams start with a great pair of pajamas! Thanks to our local Bank of America team for collecting 200 new pairs of pajamas for children right here in our community!

Colorful pajamas may seem like a small thing, but they can bring comfort and a sense of normalcy to a child navigating challenging circumstances. These fun designs and bright colors help remind children that they are loved!

We are so grateful to Burns & McDonnell for organizing an incredible clothing drive in support of the Caring Closet!

Together, they collected more than 800 pairs of new socks, 125 new t-shirts, and countless clothing items for men, women, and children in our community. Though organized locally, this effort brought together multiple locations and partners, including Dominion Energy, to make a huge impact!
