And baby, I’m not spending them yapping about what I’m going to do.

We’re doing it.

Starting Sunday, September 6, Financial Fancy is kicking off a new challenge, and we’re getting REAL about what it takes to move the needle in business right now.

Not just the cute graphics.
Not just another morning routine.
Not another “5 things every entrepreneur should know” carousel. 😂

I want to talk about the stuff happening behind the scenes.

What does it actually look like to be an innovator when everybody has access to the same tools?

What is AI REALLY doing to business, and how should we be using it instead of letting it make us lazy?

Which trends are worth paying attention to and which ones are just the internet yapping?

What am I testing inside Financial Fancy?

What am I keeping?

What am I sunsetting?

Where am I investing?

What numbers am I watching?

And most importantly, what is actually moving the needle?

Because revenue is cute.

Followers are cute.

Going viral is cute.

But I want sustainable businesses. I want systems. I want implementation. I want founders making decisions from DATA instead of vibes.

For the next four months, we are locking in.

Entrepreneurship is the biggest personal development project we will ever unknowingly sign up for.

And whew, will it develop you.

I took the entire month of August off for my birthday. As I ease back into emails, client work, strategy, and my regular rhythm, I make absolutely no apologies for resting.

My body needed it. My mind needed it. And quite frankly, my business benefited from it.

Because rest gave me room to see what needs to change.

New policies are coming.
New clients are coming.
Some services are being sunset.
Some offers are being reimagined.
And new things are being built based on what the market is actually asking for.

That is entrepreneurship.

You cannot be so emotionally attached to the version of your business that worked yesterday that you miss what your customers need today.

The numbers change.
The market changes.
Your capacity changes.
Your clients change.
And YOU change.

The goal is not to build something and spend the next 20 years protecting it from change. The goal is to build a business with enough clarity, data, and financial integrity to know when it is time to pivot.

Reinvention is not an indication that something went wrong.

Sometimes reinvention is proof that you were paying attention.

And the entrepreneurs who learn how to rest, reassess, reinvent, and respond will always have an advantage over the ones who refuse to evolve and eventually have to play catch-up.

August gave me rest.

Now it is giving me clarity.

And Financial Fancy is coming back different because I am different.

As it should be. 💅🏾

The residuals of a birthday well spent. 🥂✨

If you know me, you know I take the entire month of August off—not only to celebrate my birthday, but to reset.

Entrepreneurship will have you believing you always need to hustle, produce, and do more. I choose differently. I choose to be intentional. I choose to be present. And I choose to pour into myself just as intentionally as I pour into my clients.

Because I cannot pour from an empty cup—and entrepreneur, neither can you.

All is well. 🤎

Now, I’m easing back into my normal routine, catching up on emails, responding to messages, and preparing for what’s next. And yes… those 2027 tax season emails are coming soon. 👀

We are legitimately FOUR months away from a new year. Whew.

So here’s the question:

What’s your next move?

Because around here, we’re making sure our next move is our best move. 💅🏾

🎉 HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR FOUNDER, CHARESE CHAMBERS! 🎉

Today, we celebrate the woman behind Financial Fancy and the Brown Code Angel Network—but more importantly, we celebrate the woman behind the vision.

Another trip around the sun. Another chapter. Another opportunity to do the work, make the money, fund the vision, and leave something behind that is bigger than you. 🥂✨

What started as a desire to help entrepreneurs understand their numbers has grown into years of teaching, coaching, advocating, funding, connecting, and reminding founders that their dreams deserve strategy AND resources.

And now, that work is expanding from helping businesses build wealth to intentionally putting capital back into the hands of entrepreneurs through the Brown Code Angel Network.

Because what good is getting a seat at the table if you never pull out another chair?

So today, we celebrate our Founder.
The Fractional CFO.
The coach.
The speaker.
The philanthropist.
The loud woman with quiet thoughts.
The auntie.
The friend.
The woman who keeps beginning again.

May this year return every seed planted, every room made for somebody else, every introduction given, every lesson taught, and every act of generosity—with interest.

We’re leaving behind the version of entrepreneurship where being overwhelmed, overworked and confused about your money is a badge of honor.

We know what came in.
We know what went out.
We pay ourselves.
We prepare for taxes.
We check the reports.
And sometimes we say, “Baby, that is NOT in the budget.” 😂

Because Financial Fancy has always been about more than making money.

It’s about knowing your numbers well enough to make money decisions with confidence.
