“My name is Ruben Alderete, I am a retired Battalion Chief with 30 years in the Fire Service. I will share that 90 percent of our emergency calls were medical calls. What I found was that the medical calls we responded too, a majority of them were critical ill people. Many of them had Cancer, Cardiac, and stroke issues. We also responded to many accidental injuries. These incidents occurred at work, at home, and also while traveling from different towns, cities, or states. As a First Responder I love helping people, help mitigating issues, offering value and peace of mind as I served the communities.
When I learned about Globe Life and how they help protect individuals and families, especially when these unforeseen circumstances happen to them. I wanted to be part of the team. Not just part of the team, I wanted to find out what makes Globe Life UNIQUE and different from the other programs out there. Once I asked a few questions and did some research I found out exactly what makes them different. I knew then that I had to share this with everyone and educate them on why they needed OUR protection.
First, I felt that Globe Life is offering what I did for 30 years as a First Responder, protect and serve people when medical and accidental incidents occur. Second, when you call upon Globe Life once you have learned about a life changing event such as Cancer, Cardiac, Stroke, and an accidental incident. They respond immediately, they show up, they do what they said they were going to do, and they are there to help ease what you and your family will go through in the next phases of your life. For me, this felt like home, I did this for 30 years and I am proud to be part of the Globe Life family while offering to protect one person, one family, one community at a time.” -Ruben Alderete
