This past week Brad Hill and I attended the (American Bail Coalition) ABC Conference in Las Vegas. We both had the honor of meeting some amazing lobbyists from many states across America who fight for our industry. Most importantly Jarret Burr (Lobbyists) and Julia Henderson with NCBAA were in attendance. These two dedicated agents of NC have been working diligently for years behind the scenes of state legislation bill writing. Their job is not an easy one, I personally want to thank them for all the hard work and dedication. Great conversations were had and we look forward to building strong relationships with them in the future.

We just want to let everyone know that we appreciate your support and patience while we are slow to get our (the agent’s) coalition up and running. Of course our main concerns right now are our fellow agents in the western part of North Carolina and their safety and wellbeing. If you would like to start some kind of relief efforts let start this now as the temptation is dropping and support from outside areas are going to be pulling out. This is where the tough survive and if that doesn’t spell us Bail Agents I don’t know what does.!

-We have resources on staff to resolve our Agents issues; Attorneys, Counselors, Financial Advisors, etc
-PROUD to give 100% transparency.!
-Give & Receive Knowledge.!
-Monthly and Quarterly Questionnaires, Polls, following up with Zoom Meetings for all whom want to attend.

I understand we all have our own issues and problems personally, professionally, or some we cannot control. Private messaging is the most effective and professional way to communicate for help resolving issues.

-We will have District Chapters for NC.
Those Representatives will be responsible for task in their District.

*Taking Note of policies and procedures that need to be negotiated to have a positive professional working relationship with agents and agencies as a whole state.
*Be a point of contact for those who may need help with SBO issues, filing set asides, and/or surrendering policies in your County/District
*Supporting Community Development & Combating Needs with Fund Raising
*Partnering with local ReEntry Council
*Partnering with local Detox & Rehab Facilities as well as Peer Support Specialists

The objective is to hopefully bridge the gap of communication, diversity, and misunderstanding, positively resulting in solid understanding unity, stability, and strength.
