Just made these awesome pickups for Storywood Music!

Hot off the bench! StoryWood Music “Wood Foils”. Made using very thin reclaimed wood for the face. The pickup underneath can be anything you want, within reason of course. We're guessing most will request various flavors of humbuckers and P90s, but if you’re curious or interested, please message us! Wood options include 120 year old heart pine from the Duke Ellington School of the Arts and reclaimed mahogany from the Vaughan furniture factory offices in Galax Virginia, among others.

Our Story

Welcome to Artisan Guitar Electronics! A little bit about us: We are a husband and wife team who are passionate about making the best guitar gear you can get your hands on. We make our products in Raleigh, NC and sell items locally at Guru Guitars (they’re awesome, go there). We love what we do and we love our community - you will see us promote business and people regularly because we believe that small businesses supporting small businesses is what makes the world go round.

Hand wound pickups got us started in this industry and we have since expanded into guitar cables and most recently, guitar pedals. We love working with luthiers to create custom pickups and we will soon be offering a line of stock pickups on our website. Until then, requests can be emailed to [email protected]

Our guitar cables are customer favorites. We use BTPA cable with super low capacitance and we offer standard as well as popless cables. Neutrik silent ends on the popless cables means that you can switch out guitars during a show without worrying about that annoying “pop”.

Guitar pedals are where we have a lot of fun. Currently generating some buzz is the Germanium Fuzz pedal we have just released. VERY limited in number - all of our pedals are limited release runs and you never know what we’re going to release next so if you see one you like, get it before it’s gone!
