We want to share a few changes that are coming in 2026.

➡️ Medicaid Update
People’s will not offer a Medicaid plan next year.
If you have Medicaid with People’s, the state will automatically move you to a different health plan.
✅ You do not need to do anything.

➡️ Medicare Update
If you have Medicare Advantage Plan with People’s, nothing is changing.
✅ You will stay with the same plan, and you do not need to do anything.

➡️ Medicare Part B Deductible Change
We were made aware that supplemental carriers were sending out letters on CMS updated cost for 2026.

CMS has increased the Medicare Part B deductible:
• Old amount: $257
• New amount: $283

🚨Attention those 65+🚨.

We are being told that beginning January 2025, some group coverage may no longer be creditable.

If you're still working and you do not have Medicare Part B or Part D because you are on your employer's health insurance, you may want to check with your employer or watch if you receive a letter from your insurance company.

A note to our current customers. I know you sent us your information and several have called to check on the outcome, but please note that open enrollment just started this past Tuesday, October 15th, so we are trying to look up the information you provided. We will get back to you all as soon as we get your results.

Medicare open enrollment is from October 15th to December 7th!

IMPORTANT NOTE

If you are insured with Blue Cross through us and you receive the tax credit from the Government (Obamacare) NOTE that Blue Cross will be sending out letters showing the new 2025 premium. Note that they are not taking into consideration the 2025 tax credit amount.

We have begun contacting our clients through email to get their estimated income for 2025 so we can run the quotes starting the end of October and then we will be able to give you the correct plan and premium for 2025.

If you are a client of ours and you do not get an email from our office by October 31, 2024, please reach out to us.

VERY IMPORTANT!

Open Enrollment for Medicare Part D Drug plans and Medicare Advantage Plans start Tuesday, October 15, 2024.

Plenty mailings and phone calls will bombard you if they haven't already done so, but just be careful. Remember DO NOT give your information especially your social security number or Medicare number to someone you do not know. They could change your plan even if you did not request it and you won't find out till it's too late!

Stay vigilant and cautious!

We see way too much of this happening and it could be too late to correct it!

Well, Open Enrollment is here! That means we will get a high volume of calls.

Knowing this, We would like to welcome Madison "Madi" Williams to our team. If you have a Medicare supplement with us and received a letter directly from the insurance company showing a plan with dental and vision, please note that you have to give up your Medicare Supplement as you cannot have both. Hopefully this helps you to better understand how it works. Thank you
