Loan Central will begin offering tax advance loans (TAL) on Monday, January 9th. A few reminders: 1) You will need a valid ID to obtain a tax advance loan, 2) If we do not have copies already, you will need the social security cards for all dependents and birth certificates for children under 18, 3) You need to wait and file your taxes until after you have received all your W-2s and 1099s including unemployment, 4) If you know of something that is going to take your tax return, please bring proof of your balance owed, i.e. child support, state tax debts, etc. (student loans have been deferred again), 5) If you are claiming the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), you will need to provide us proof the dependent lived with you with medical records, school records, social service records, lease agreements listing the dependents, etc. Our experience tax preparers are excited to help you get the biggest tax refund you are entitled to.
