Well we can’t thank the community enough again as A Night For Excellence 2025 was a huge success! We can’t wait to see what awesome ideas the Ash West teachers come up with next year so we can give your generous donations back to the school district to directly benefit the students.

Did you know that the Ashburnham Westminster Foundation for Academic Excellence has granted MORE THAN $210,000 of privately raised funds in to Ash-West classrooms and initiatives since 2009? Our grant cycle is currently OPEN FOR APPLICATIONS through April 21, 2025. Here's where you come in--please encourage your teacher friends to apply for an AWFAE grant! Or if you're a teacher, please visit our website, which has links to the current grant cycle application. Need some inspiration? Here's a list of grants we've awarded over the years. The AWFAE grant program promotes educational excellence in the Ashburnham Westminster Regional School District. The Foundation provides private financial support for exemplary educational projects and programs that benefit public school educators and students in the two communities. Foundation grants, large or small, foster innovative programming that better prepares students for the future by strengthening academics, enhancing technology, and bolstering skilled instructional techniques. The Foundation is directed by a board of volunteers, primarily from Ashburnham and Westminster, who are committed to the pursuit of educational excellence throughout the school district. Thankful. That is the only word we can use to describe the feeling we have after A Night For Excellence.

This community is AMAZING! Last night, you all helped raise over $30,000 that will given back to the Ash-West district for programs that will help our students become better leaders, scholars, athletes, artists, and citizens.

A special thanks to our amazing board of directors, the The Colonial Hotel, Retro Stew, and Kristen Smith.
