December 1916: Philly replaced the Barber quarter with this beauty by Hermon MacNeil. They struck just 52k before New Year’s. In 1917 they made 8.7 MILLION. That’s 150x rarer.

Type 1 exposed breast design - censored in 1917. WWI era, 109 years old. This is the 1909-S VDB of quarters.
