We have a ton of fun planned so even if this will be your only pageant experience we would love to have you. Title categories are:
0-2 Baby Miss Oregon
2-3 Tiny Miss Oregon
3 yrs - 5 yrs. - Mini Miss Oregon
5 yrs - 8 yrs - Little Miss Oregon
8 yrs - 10 yrs - Jr. Miss Oregon
10 yrs - 13 yrs - Pre Teen Miss Oregon
14 yrs - 18 yrs - Miss Teen Oregon
19 yrs - 26 yrs - Miss Oregon
The divisions overlap
so that you have a choice depending on your child's level of maturity. Baby and Tiny contestants will model Party wear, and be judged on their stage presents,
( i.e. are they having fun?)
Playtime, a few moments to play with the other contestants of their age division while the judges observe attitude, personality and disposition. Mini - Little contestants will model Party wear, be interviewed in a suit or dress ( an easy question about their self to judge personality) Fitness Wear-no mid drift mostly one color to show age appropriate physical fitness. Jr. - Pre Teen contestants will model Formal wear, and be interviewed wearing a dress or suit,
Fitness Wear- (mid drift allowed) mostly one color to show age appropriate physical fitness. There will be optional categories as follows:
Photogenic -(all ages) Submit an 8x10 photo for judging at a preliminary or participate in a photo shoot at state. Video- (Mini-Preteen) Submit a video via internet of DVD for ages 3 and up with the contestant talking about their favorite thing. 2 minute maximum. Talent - (Mini-Preteen) Contestants will perform their talent. Please provide any music in CD format with tape or sticker on case specifying song name and number, contestant name and contestant number/ title category. State Costume - A costume representative of Oregon (historical reference, icon, culture, etc.) Props are allowed. Spokes model - Contestant will be given 45 seconds to speak about themselves, community involvement, activities or whatever they want that shows their ability to be a possible spokes model for a platform. For the overall petite Miss title the contestant will need to have competed in at least 3 of the optional categories. (2 for Overall Baby Miss)
Prizes
Overall Title holder for the pageant will receive a Crown, banner, National entry fee paid in full, scholarship money for private school / college / after school activities
Overall optional winners for the pageant will receive a metal, National entry 25% discount
Each title holder will win a crown, banner, Nationals entry fee 50% discount. All contestants will get a certificate of completion

Optional's entry fees are $20 per. You can compete for your age division title with just the basic entry, however, to compete for the overall petite miss or overall miss titles you must participate in at least three optional's (2 for Overall Baby). When you enter all five optional's you will receive a discount of $20 (or one for free.) General suggestions:
All outfits or costumes should be age appropriate. Makeup is allowed but not recommended for Jr. Miss and below. If you decide to put makeup on your child it should not be noticeable (such as eyeliner, dark mascara, lipstick etc.) We want kids to be kids with the idea that they are putting their best foot forward and having fun at the same time.
