Medicare premiums are increasing again in 2026 in a jump that far outpaces both inflation and Social Security's cost-of-living adjustment.

After November 8, 2025, Ken Locke and Associates, LLC will no longer market, sell or assist in new stand-alone Part D plan enrollments or inquiries. This DOES NOT affect Medicare Supplement or Medicare Advantage Plans, or those with Part D plans that are already existing clients of Ken Locke. Also, we will continue to offer new enrollments and process renewals for Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement plans.

Part D plans and distribution has changed recently due to recent changes to insurance company contracts and distribution as a result of changes implemented by the Inflation Reduction Act. We will continue to work with existing clients on managing and servicing their Part D benefits for 2026.

After November 8, 2025: For assistance with changing your Part D plan, call 1-800-MEDICARE or go to Medicare.gov to self-administer your individual Part D enrollment after November 8, 2025. NOTE: If you are already enrolled in a Part D plan for 2026, and you are a client of Ken Locke, then Ken will continue to service and assist with your Part D plan for the plan year 2026.

​Again, this will not affect existing clients for plan year 2026 so long as your plan selected is confirmed by Nov 8. Also, it DOES NOT affect Medicare Supplement or Medicare Advantage Plans. We will continue to offer new enrollments and process renewals for Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement plans going forward.

This summer marks 10 years as an independent broker at my own health insurance agency. I have enjoyed working with so many people of all ages and occupations over the past decade. What a wonderful experience to meet so many new people and hear about their lives. I am thankful to God for giving me the opportunity help and serve so many individuals, families, seniors and small business owners. It has been a true blessing! I am grateful every day, and I am excited, God willing, that I will be able to do this hopefully another ten years.

Did you know by law Medicare Supplement plans in the state of Wisconsin have to meet certain benchmark standards? Some plans may go beyond benchmark, with "value-added" benefits such as a free gym membership, enhanced preventive care, etc. The takeaway is at minimum, ALL Medicare Supplement plans MUST cover you the same on the core coverage. This makes comparing these plans fairly simple. Find the plan that has the "value-added" benefit you prefer at the most affordable cost. As an independent broker, I work with a variety of insurance companies and will assist you AT NO COST to narrow down the list and find a plan that is SUITABLE and AFFORDABLE for YOU.
