Sometimes the best Lunch & Learns aren’t even planned! 😊

A few weeks ago, Gus hosted an impromptu TSP Lunch & Learn right here in our Shalimar office boardroom.
When an opportunity comes up to share information and spend time with members of our military community, we make it work — planned or not!
Thanks, Gus, for jumping in and making it happen.

TSP funds have very low administrative and investment expenses and, low expenses can have a positive effect on the rate of return of your investment.

🍂✨ Fall in Love with Fisher House! ✨🍂

What a fabulous evening at the 19th Annual Helping Heroes Gala, benefiting the Fisher House of the Emerald Coast!
Beautiful décor, plenty of laughs, fun props, great company — and even a little time with Dolly! 😉 Dionna certainly understood the assignment and brought the sparkle! ✨
We always look forward to this incredible event and are grateful to continue supporting an organization that does so much for our military families.
A beautiful evening, a wonderful cause, and definitely some memories made at Table 25! ❤️

We pause to remember the brave Americans who endured captivity, those who never returned home, and the loved ones who continue to carry their legacy forward. May we always honor their courage, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication to our Nation. 💙

Last week was a special — and definitely emotional — day in our Shalimar District office as we came together to celebrate Dave and his upcoming retirement after 30 years with First Command. ❤️

With his wife, Debbie, by his side and almost the entire advisor team together, we shared a meal, plenty of stories and lots of memories from over the years. Dave even took us on a little trip down memory lane as he reminisced about some of the good old days!

Thirty years brings a lot of memories, friendships and people whose lives you’ve touched along the way. We’re certainly going to miss having Dave at the helm of our Shalimar team.

And of course, no retirement celebration would be complete without cake… time to golf, Dave! ⛳

Thank you for 30 incredible years, Dave. We hope you enjoy every minute of what comes next!

This week, we’re going all the way back to 2008 and Dionna’s very first Air Force Ball, pictured here with her husband! 💙✨
With the Hurlburt Field & Eglin AFB Air Force Ball taking place tomorrow, it seemed like the perfect time to bring this memory out of the archives.
Fast forward 18 years, and Dionna will be dressing up for another Air Force Ball tomorrow, this time alongside some of her fellow First Command Shalimar advisors.
These traditions, celebrations and relationships with our military community are a big part of why we love sharing these Military Memories.
Thanks for taking us back to 2008, Dionna — and we can’t wait to see this year’s photos! 📸✨

A little follow-up from the 31 CABS event on September 10! 😊

Gus stopped by with some sweet treats and First Command goodies to help support the event. Always great to spend time with the 31 CABS team and continue building this new relationship.

Thanks for having us!
