I'm delayed in sharing this, but sometimes life's transitions deserve our full attention. Shortly after earning this recognition, I began pivoting into a new role, one that aligns even more closely with my personal strengths, goals, and the journey I envision for myself. In the midst of that change, I realized something important: we often move so quickly from one achievement to the next that we don't take the time to truly appreciate how far we've come.
If I'm being honest, celebrating myself has never come naturally. I've always felt more comfortable shining a light on others than on my own accomplishments. But I'm learning that pausing to reflect on our achievements isn't bragging, it's honoring the work, sacrifices, and people who helped make them possible.
With that in mind, I'm incredibly grateful to have been part of an office recognized as the top-performing Financial Services office in Western & Southern Life for 2025. This achievement represents countless hours of hard work, a commitment to serving our clients well, and the collective efforts of an amazing team.
A special thank you to my mom, for your love and support throughout my journey. Thank you to Julie Calhoun, our Agency Manager, for her leadership and mentorship. And thank you to everyone, family, friends, colleagues, clients, and mentors who has encouraged me, challenged me, and helped me grow. This recognition belongs to all of you as much as it does to me.
I'm also especially proud to have been part of a historic milestone: the first all-female management team to receive this award. It's an accomplishment that speaks not only to performance, but to the power of determination, collaboration, and women supporting women.
If there's one thing I hope others take away from this post, it's this: don't rush past your victories. Take a moment to reflect on the mountains you've climbed, the obstacles you've overcome, and the people who walked beside you. Success isn't just about reaching the next goal, it's also about appreciating the journey.
