Audition Notice
Puppets for Pittsburgh is holding auditions this Sunday, for our outdoor summer puppet show. This show travels with the Roving Art Cart Citiparks to parks all over the city and is already booked for 20 shows opening on June 16. This year's show features the life of jazz legend and Pittsburgh hero Mary Lou Williams. We're looking for young BIPOC actors. Puppetry experience preferred but not required. Message me for more details.

Hi puppeteers! This is usually the time I say, "Make your plans to join in the parade on New Year's Eve." Sadly The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust cancelled the parade this year citing budgetary constraints and construction on the parade route. I guess this is the year to do something different with the people you love. I really don't know if this is a blip in a more than quarter-century tradition or the end of an era. I'm working on other opportunities for everyone to join in the truly community-made, people-powered experience we've made together in the upcoming year.
