Received this text today. Just a reminder that the IRS does not contact you by text, and the Franchise Tax Board *only* does so in specific cases where you have previously authorized them (and most of those are one-time only). If you get a text purporting to be from the IRS - it’s as a scam. If you get one purporting to be from the FTB, most likely it’s a scam, too.

And, of course, if you do receive a valid letter from the IRS or any taxing authority regarding taxes we have prepared for you, please let us know and let us help!
