Join Molina Healthcare of Arizona, The Mama Joe Project and Tannercdc for a special screening of My Mama Joe, Hope & Help at the Phoenix Art Museum.

The film shares one family’s story of navigating dementia and caregiving, along with information about healthy aging and support for families.

Following the screening, local experts and caregivers will be available to answer questions and connect attendees with helpful community resources.

Eczema is a common skin condition that can cause dry, itchy and bumpy skin. It can affect people of all ages, and symptoms may come and go during periods called “flare-ups.” Certain allergens and irritants can sometimes trigger or worsen symptoms.

The MolinaCares Accord, working with Molina Healthcare of Arizona, has given a $50,000 grant to United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona. The funding will support the Direct Care Workforce Resource Program and help more people start careers as direct care workers.

The program is expected to help nearly 200 people get the training and certifications they need for these important jobs, including CPR classes and fingerprint clearance.

As more older adults choose to stay in their homes as they age, the need for direct care workers continues to grow. This grant will help build a stronger workforce and support older adults in living safely and independently.
