A client recently gave me a Trader Joe’s gift card after we closed her loan.

Which made me laugh because the reason was so specific.

At one point during the loan process, I was walking into Trader Joe’s while explaining something about her loan over the phone.

Apparently, that stuck with her.

What really meant a lot, though, was that in her review she mentioned how I remembered specific details about her loan.

Not just the basic stuff.

The details.

And honestly, that made my day.

Because that is the part of the job I care about most.

People are trusting me with one of the biggest financial decisions they will probably ever make. So yeah, I am going to remember the details. I am going to explain things. I am going to answer the questions. Even if I am walking into Trader Joe’s.

The review was amazing.

The gift card was thoughtful.

But the reminder was even better:
