Wharton Undergraduate Finance Club (WUFC) is the premier and largest undergraduate finance institution on campus, with 100+ active members and 3000 affiliates. We are proud to be the most comprehensive destination for everything finance-related, and are fully committed to supporting our members in reaching their professional goals.

We will be hosting our only info session for fall 2022 recruitment next Tuesday, September 13 from 8 to 9pm in G65, Huntsman Hall. Come to to learn about our committees, board members, plan for the school year and application info.

WUFC’s Speakers Series ft. Jan Loeys (Managing Director, J.P. Morgan)

Come meet Jan Loeys, MD and former Chief Investment Strategist, to learn about fundamentals of Strategic Investing and J.P. Morgan's strategic portfolio.

Jan G. Loeys is Managing Director and the Long-term Strategist in Global Research. He advises large investors on Strategic Investing, writing The Long-term Strategist and co-managing J.P. Morgan Perspectives.

Mr. Loeys joined J.P. Morgan in New York in 1986, where he worked in International Economics and in Markets Research. Between 1992 and 2010, he worked from London as Chief Bond Strategist and then as Head of Markets Research, writing The J.P. Morgan View and Global Asset Allocation. Returning to New York, he became Chief Investment Strategist for J.P. Morgan. Prior to his arrival at J.P. Morgan, he was Senior Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia.

In this week's first edition of series, we're excited to introduce our two amazing Vice Presidents of Investment!

Joanna is a sophomore in the Wharton School studying Finance and Accounting. She's originally from Chandler, Arizona and often FaceTimes her little sister back home. During her spare time, she enjoys watching thriller movies, playing TFT, and ice skating. She also recently began watching Formula 1 and is competing against her friends in F1 Fantasy. Joanna's favorite things about WUFC are the other board execs and her investment club committee members

Jacob Gould is a sophomore in the Wharton School studying Finance and Computer Science and is the current VP of the Investment Team. Jacob is originally from Bethlehem, PA, and he enjoys spending time outdoors and cooking with family. Jacob has two dogs, Daisy and Bo, and even has two pet ducks! Jacob's favorite WUFC memory is the recent NYC trek to visit Rothschild & Co. Jacob is always open to providing advice and mentorship to underclassmen, so please do not hesitate to reach out!

Hope everyone has had a wonderful Spring Break. To begin our series featuring the fabulous 2022 WUFC Executive Board, we’re excited to introduce our ~CO-PRESIDENTS~ !!!

Sydney Teh is a junior in the Wharton School studying Finance and Marketing. Originally from NYC, she appeared on an HBO TV show about presidents as a child (and is now an actual co-president!). Outside of academics, her interests range widely from singing, piano, biking, food, to boggle/crosswords, languages, and international affairs. Her favorite restaurant is Fat Salmon and favorite WUFC Memory is having lunch with PJT at PJT Partners!

Baptiste Audenaert is a sophomore in the Wharton School studying Finance and Business Analytics. Originally from Antwerp, Belgium, he is also the only Belgian at Wharton! His interests include artificial intelligence, tennis, scuba diving, and traveling. His favorite restaurant is Vernick and favorite WUFC Memory is the first week in Corporate Relations committee as a freshman. “I was put on a call with Goldman Sachs to negotiate a sponsorship deal. As someone who had just arrived at Wharton, the experience felt overwhelming but exhilarating at the same time. It shows that WUFC is the ideal place to gain direct exposure to the finance industry.”

Wharton Undergraduate Finance Club is excited to invite you to a Fireside Chat and Q&A with Michael Klein, Founder and Managing Partner of the boutique investment banking firm M Klein and Co and Board Member of Churchill Capital Corp. V, VI and VII.

The event will take place TOMORROW, Monday February 28th at 6:00PM pm in JMHH G55. We are excited to discuss how Michael Klein started his own investment bank, views the S**C market, some of his proudest S**C deals, and what he sees as the future of finance.
