No one doubts that damages to a home cause stress and grief to the homeowners. These difficulties are only compounded when a claim is not properly handled and the insured feels the insurance company is not standing behind the promises in the policy. Because a claim can be emotional for insureds, many policyholders hire help with their claims and the emotional burdens.

Read what has been pointed out by some experts -

Insurance expert said:

"A public adjuster is licensed in the state they do business in by the State Dept. of Insurance. I have known several people that have suffered major fire, water and wind losses that received a huge recovery from their insurance policy verse what they might have gotten by not using a public adjuster. HIRE A PUBLIC ADJUSTER IN EVERY MAJOR INSURANCE CLAIM!"

Another explained the need for representation by a PA:

"Public Adjusters exist because of the inherent conflict of interest that exists when one person or entity attempts to represent two sides of a financial transaction..."

If you have suffered a property loss to your home or business and are considering hiring a public insurance adjuster to assist with your insurance claim, then rest assured that Apex Claims Team can help you. As your PA we will be paid a contingent percentage of your claim & will work to increase the amount of the payment you are rightly owed from the insurance claim. Further, we will take over dealing with the insurance company and at least relieve part of your stress.

Out there protecting the homeowner and reviewing quite a few open claims. Just because the insurance company has released a check, that doesn't mean you have to accept their offer as final.

We work diligently to make sure every aspect of your claim is addressed, and if the insurance company doesn't want to pay for something, we ask for them to explain their reasons in writing. Most often, we successfully negotiate for a substantial supplemental release.

Q-I've had a claim recently, but I am concerned that the insurance company offer is too low. Can I still hire a public adjuster?

A-There will be times where you feel that you have not been offered enough money to make all the repairs to your property. You can still hire a public adjuster to re-open the claim. The public adjuster may discover hidden and/or additional damages that the insurance company may still owe for. We can also argue on your behalf about a claim denial or partial denial. There has been many times where a denial has been reversed. We are here to make sure you get the benefits from your policy and use the 'principles of full indemnity' as a guideline to getting the insured recompensed properly.

Was driving around @ 8am this morning. Tons of tree debris everywhere, including the roadways. Saw a bunch of fallen trees, uprooted/tilted trees, and a couple houses had trees on them. For the most part, it seems everyone stayed safe. That is good news!

If you do discover damage to your property, please consider us to represent you for your insurance loss.

Q-Whats the difference between a HO2 & HO3 homeowners policy?

A-These two policies are quite different and the HO3 is the far superior choice. The HO2 policy covers 16 perils some of which are fire or lightning, windstorm or hail, smoke, theft, amongst others.

An HO-3 policy is often called a "special form" because it covers everything except what is listed as excluded. The burden of proof during a claim falls into the insurer's hands, rather than the homeowner (like w/ a HO2 policy) It is the most popular type of policy.

Any insurance agent worth his salt should explain the differences between the two policies. The premium will be higher, but it is usually pennies on the dollar.
