Some Halloween Fun at The First! 🎃

First, members of our Wealth Management Group along with Kevin Dolton visited Brookdale Senior Living for a Visiting Angels network event where they connected with professionals in the community who share our passion for helping seniors. They also share our love for having fun and being a little silly during Halloween! 🎃

Kevin was back at it again, at Halloween Happening at Warwick Township Community Park in Jamison, helping out with their Trunk or Treating event! Great job by our team! 👻🎃

Please join us for the Newtown Rotary Club's 1st Annual Children’s Fall Fest will take place Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 11:30 AM–1:00 PM at Brian Gregg Park, immediately following the Newtown Halloween Parade award ceremony. The family-friendly event will feature children’s music and activities, balloon sculptures, pumpkin decorating, a spider craft table, Churchville Nature Center, candy giveaway and a popcorn station. Last week, NOVA Victim Advocate Coordinator Stephanie Shantz joined community partners for an Elder Fraud Prevention Forum hosted by the River Towns Rotary Club.

Alongside representatives from the Bucks County Agency on Aging, Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General, Office of Elder Justice in the Courts, and The First National Bank & Trust Company of Newtown, Stephanie participated in a panel discussion focused on recognizing common scams targeting older adults, protecting personal finances, reporting fraud, and accessing resources and support.

We’re grateful for opportunities to collaborate with community partners, share important information, and help older adults stay informed, protect themselves from fraud, and know where to turn for help. 🧡
