Some days at the office are better than others.

Yesterday I was in Philadelphia for the WisdomTree RIA Summit, where I got to hear Professor Jeremy Siegel speak. He is a professor emeritus of finance at Wharton and WisdomTree's Senior Economist, and one of the most respected voices on long-term investing. If the name doesn't ring a bell, his book will: Stocks for the Long Run.

Why does this matter to Vericrest clients?

Because the research behind your portfolio is not one guy in Newtown with a spreadsheet (although my color-coded, conditionally formatted, pivot-tabled masterpiece remains available for viewing. Nobody has ever asked.)

We work side-by-side with WisdomTree's investment team to build, monitor and adjust our portfolios, and Professor Siegel sits on the investment committee that oversees that work.

Just got back from Jackson Hole - turns out we missed the other Jackson Hole gathering by a few weeks. Fed Chair Kevin Warsh showed up hawkish, rate hike odds jumped to 60% for September, and nobody invited me.
