Early retirement sounds great — until you remember Medicare doesn't start until 65. So what fills the gap?
Swipe through your options ➡️
Slide 1 — ACA Marketplace plans
Often the #1 path for early retirees. Income-based subsidies. Coverage that travels with you.
Slide 2 — Spouse's employer plan
If your spouse still works, this can be an option. Compare costs carefully — sometimes the Marketplace is cheaper.
Slide 3 — COBRA from former employer
Same coverage you had at work, but you pay the FULL premium. Usually expensive.
Slide 4 — Short-term plans
Lower premiums but limited benefits and not regulated like ACA plans. Use with caution and read the fine print.
We help early retirees stress-test which option actually fits their budget.
