One of the best parts of owning a business is the unexpected moments that make your day.

Today I had the sweetest surprise visit at the office from my beautiful daughter, Anny Haro | Real Estate Photographer, along with a thoughtful gift that reminded me how blessed I am.

She is one of the most selfless, kind, strong, and generous women I know. As a successful business owner herself, she leads with integrity, works tirelessly, and has a heart for helping others. Watching her build her dreams has been one of my greatest joys.

Life has definitely thrown us a few curveballs, but we’ve also hit some incredible fastballs together. As lifelong baseball fans, we know that every challenge is another opportunity to step up to the plate, keep swinging, and never lose faith.

Thank you, mija, for always believing in me, encouraging me, and showing up when I least expect it. Your thoughtfulness means more than you know.

I will always be your biggest cheerleader, just as you’ve always been one of mine. I love you and I’m so proud of the amazing woman you’ve become. ❤️⚾

“Snitches get stitches”... apparently, so do nosy dogs. 😅🐶

Meet Bailey. Curiosity got the best of her, and it ended with an unexpected trip to the vet and a few stitches. She’s doing great now, but let’s just say the vet bill hurt a little more than her ego.

As funny as the story is now, it was a good reminder that accidents can happen in the blink of an eye. Whether it’s an injury, an illness, or something completely unexpected, emergency veterinary care can get expensive fast.

As a pet grandma, I never want cost to be the reason someone has to second-guess getting their furry family member the care they need. That’s exactly why I believe in pet insurance.

Hopefully Bailey has learned her lesson... although if you know dogs, that’s probably wishful thinking. 😂

Insurance is not a product you should buy based on price alone. It’s a financial safety net designed to protect you from unexpected loss, injury, and liability. The reality is that most people are underinsured, and don’t realize it until after an accident or loss occurs. When that happens, the consequences can be severe and long-lasting. A common mistake is carrying only state minimum auto coverage. In an at fault collision, minimum limits may not cover medical expenses, vehicle, damages or legal costs and you could be personally responsible for the difference. Cheaper policies often come with gaps, exclusions, and limits, that may leave you exposed when you need protection the most.
