I experienced these exact words when I was a very little girl:
✨ “Barb, the reason that boy is being mean to you is because he really likes you.”
✨How ridiculous and “messed up” this comment is to a little girl!!! 😱
✨I endured a lot of emotional abuse in dating men, and in my marriage.
I believed that when a man says something mean, rude, sexual, or otherwise I interpreted as this;
✨”Barb, he must care about you so this is to help you in life.”
Let’s raise boys and girls who:
💕 Are kind and empathetic
💕 Communicate their feelings
💕 Are honest and respectful
💕 Believe all human beings are equal
💕 Feel confident enough to be authentic and true to themselves
