For most families, their home is the biggest 💲 investment they'll ever make.

Illinois has become only the 2nd state in history to record over 200 tornados in one calendar year 😳

Unfortunately all of these storms and the damage they leave behind, plays a big role in insurance costs.

INCREDIBLE TORNADO RECORD! With yesterdays tornadoes, is now at 201 tornadoes for the year, becoming only the second state in recorded history to see 200+ tornadoes in a single year.

The current record holder is with 245 in 2015. If the pace keeps up, this record could fall, but climatologically speaking, the Illinois tornado season begins to quickly wind down after August...however, its not unheard of to get a large outbreak in the fall every few years (think 11-17-13 or 12-1-18). Lets hope that DOESN'T happen this year. Ya'll have had more than enough!

📸I love photography, I actually worked at Disney World and helped in the beginning stages of PhotoPass! Which also turned into a love of nature photography.

🌎 There is something so special when you pause the world around you, and take in the beauty that Mother Nature surrounds you with!

This morning I found this gorgeous orange and gold sunflower growing in my garden and I couldn't resist stopping for a photo! 🌻
