We’ll spend $40 without thinking twice…

But ask us to spend $40 a month on something that could actually change our financial situation and suddenly we need to “think about it.”

We’ll finance the car.
Upgrade the phone.
Order the DoorDash.
Buy the $7 coffee because we deserve it.

And listen—I’m not here to tell you to stop enjoying your life.

I like my coffee too. 😂☕️

But somewhere along the way, we have to stop asking,

“Can I afford this?”

and start asking,

“Is this helping the life I’m trying to build?”

Because being financially responsible doesn’t mean never having fun.

It means learning how to enjoy today without constantly stealing from tomorrow.

That’s the real conversation.

Currently conducting business from my “very official mobile office”… 😂

AKA my car.

But while I’m here, let me teach you something:

Having life insurance through work doesn’t always mean your family is fully protected.

Employer coverage can be a great benefit, but it’s important to understand what happens to that coverage if you change jobs, leave the company, retire, or your employment ends.

That’s why I always like to encourage people to have a policy they personally own and control when it makes sense for their situation.

Because jobs change.
Companies change.
Life changes.

Your personal coverage can stay with you wherever your career or life takes you. 🤍

So don’t just assume you’re covered because you have something through work.

Pull out that policy.
Ask questions.
Know what you actually have.

And if you have absolutely no idea what you’re looking at…

That’s literally what I’m here for.🤍

COFFEE WITH KATIE☕️

Can we talk about something before this Monday gets rolling?

You don’t have to be available to everyone, all the time.

Sometimes we get so caught up in doing, fixing, answering, helping, working, planning, and keeping everybody else together…

that we forget to step away.

And honestly?

✨Even Jesus stepped away.✨

Over and over in Scripture, we see Him withdraw from the crowds, go somewhere quiet, and pray.

Not because He didn’t care about people.

Not because there wasn’t work to do.

But because He knew He needed time with the Father.

Let that sink in for a minute.

If Jesus made time to step away from the noise…

maybe we’re allowed to do the same.

You can put the phone down.
You can say “not today.”
You can take a quiet morning.
You can sit with your coffee and breathe without feeling like you should be doing something else.

The world will still be there when you come back.

So this Monday, don’t just ask yourself:

“What do I need to get done?”

Ask yourself:

“Where do I need to get quiet?” ☕️

Because sometimes the most productive thing you can do…

is step away long enough to hear God clearly.

Now go drink your coffee.
You’ve got a week to handle. 😂☕️

Because let’s be honest…
I’m still trying to figure out what’s for dinner tonight. 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

But seriously…

Sunday has a funny way of making us slow down for a minute.

Church. Coffee. Family. A little football. Maybe a nap we absolutely did NOT plan on taking. 😴

And somewhere between all of that, it’s a good time to ask:

“What can I do THIS week that future me will be thankful for?”

Maybe it’s finally making that appointment.
Maybe it’s checking your budget.
Maybe it’s getting your paperwork organized.
Maybe it’s having the conversation you’ve been putting off.

Or maybe…
you just need to sit down, breathe, and remember that God is already in tomorrow. 🙏🏼

You don’t have to have everything figured out today.

Just take the next right step. ❤️

But the person who makes sure all those bills get paid?

We made it, y’all. 😂

Did I accomplish everything I planned this week?

Absolutely not.
Did I make a new list of things I need to do next week?

Absolutely. 😂👏🏼

But you know what? I showed up. And sometimes that’s the win.

Business got busy. Life got lifey. Plans changed. Coffee was consumed. ☕️🤣 And somehow, we’re still standing!

So today, I’m choosing to celebrate progress over perfection.

Because whether you’re building a business, raising a family, working a 9–5, chasing a dream, or just trying to keep your laundry from becoming a permanent piece of furniture…

Take a breath.
Enjoy your Friday.

WHAT IF… you stopped worrying about what could go wrong and started trusting God with what could go RIGHT?

What if the thing you’ve been praying about isn’t being delayed… it’s being prepared?

What if that closed door is actually protection?

What if the “no” you’re frustrated with is making room for a much better “yes”?

And what if, instead of asking “What if everything falls apart?”…

You started asking:

“What if God is already working it all together?” 🤍

Sometimes faith isn’t knowing how the story ends.

It’s trusting the Author while you’re still on the page.

So today’s What If:
What if you let go of the fear and made room for faith?

🩷 Remembering Dolly Parton 🩷

Some people entertain us.
Some people inspire us.
And then there are the rare ones who somehow become a part of our lives without ever knowing us personally.

Dolly Parton was one of those people.

She gave us music, laughter, wisdom, kindness, and so many words that seemed to find us exactly when we needed them.

One of my favorites:

What a beautiful way to live.

Dolly never seemed afraid to be exactly who she was. She stayed true to her roots, loved people fiercely, gave generously, and spent her life making a difference.

Today, I’m just grateful for the memories, the music, and the reminder that a life well lived isn’t measured by how much you have—but by how much love and goodness you leave behind.

Rest peacefully, Dolly. 🩷🌷

Let’s Talk Real…

Let’s be honest for a minute…

Most of us are really good at planning for everything except the things we don’t want to think about. 😅

We plan vacations.
We plan weddings.
We plan for retirement.
We plan for the kids.
We plan our next big purchase.

But talking about “What happens if something happens to me?” gets pushed to the bottom of the list.

And I get it. It’s not exactly a fun dinner-table conversation. 😂

But here’s the real part:

Life insurance isn’t about planning for death. It’s about protecting the people you love while you’re still here.

It’s about making sure your family has options instead of overwhelming bills.

It’s about protecting the home you worked so hard for.

It’s about giving your spouse, your kids, or your loved ones one less thing to worry about during an already difficult time.

So maybe this is your sign to stop saying,
“I’ll get around to it.”
