She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Chicago State University, a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Roosevelt University, and a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from National Louis University. Currently, Chrishon serves as the Lead Navigator at The Care Plan
, where she plays a pivotal role in overseeing client care and guiding a team of Care Navigators. In her leadership capacity, she manages a caseload, ensures the delivery of exceptional care, provides training and coaching for new staff, and leads meetings to drive strategic initiatives. Chrishon also represents The Care Plan at networking events and collaborates with the leadership team to shape company policies, procedures, and growth. In addition to her work in healthcare, Chrishon is a Licensed Financial and Tax Professional with over three years of experience providing financial and tax services. She brings her expertise in financial planning, tax preparation, and advising clients on their financial health, offering tailored solutions that align with their goals and objectives. Chrishon is also an Illinois Notary Public, where she assists with the authentication of documents and ensures that legal and business transactions are properly executed, further expanding her professional services. Before joining The Care Plan, Chrishon gained valuable experience as a Certified Medical Assistant at the Will County Health Department in the OB-Gyne Department, where she was responsible for patient intake, performing point-of-care testing, administering vaccines, and managing patient care. She also served on the Health Committee and contributed to the Adolescent and Code Blue teams. Chrishon’s healthcare career includes working as a Certified Medical Assistant at Rush University Medical Center's School-Based Health Center at Orr Academy High School, and later supporting both the school-based clinic and Title X Program at Simpson Academy for Young Women. With over ten years of experience in early childhood development, Chrishon served as a Developmental Therapist and State Evaluator for the Illinois Early Intervention Program, providing developmental therapy and support for children ages birth to three. She also worked as a Clinical Therapist Intern at Linden Oaks Hospital in Naperville, where she provided psychotherapy, conducted assessments, and assisted in discharge planning. In her tenure with the State of Illinois, Chrishon served as an Office Administrator for the Department of Public Health for six years and as an assistant to the director at the Illinois Council on Developmental Disabilities for four years. Chrishon is also a certified Bereavement Minister, offering grief support to families within Early Intervention and her local community. Additionally, she has completed 40 hours of domestic violence and r**e advocacy training and worked on the crisis hotline for an emergency shelter for battered women. A dedicated veteran, Chrishon served in the United States Army Reserve for eight years. Dorothy Church, where she has held several leadership positions, including President of the Ladies Guild, Recording Secretary for the Knights of Peter Claver Ladies Auxiliary Court 158, and Minister of Consolation. She also served as Financial Secretary on the St. Dorothy School Board for over 10 years.
