The value of global oil and gas deals reached $85 billion during the third
quarter of 2010, driven by the massive $42.5 billion deal between Petrobras and
the government of Brazil and strategic reorganizations of assets by
super-majors including BP and ConocoPhillips, according to Evaluate Energy's

BILLINGS, Mont., Sept. 23, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) --
Voyager Oil & Gas, Inc. today announces that it has closed on the issuance
of $15 million principal amount of 12% senior secured notes for the purpose of
financing future drilling and development activities. Proceeds from the notes
will be used primarily to fund developmental drilling on Voyager's significant
acreage positions targeting the Denver-Julesberg Basin Niobrara formation
through its joint venture with Slawson Exploration and the Williston Basin
Bakken/Three Forks. The notes mature on September 17, 2011 and may be extended
an additional year at the end of the initial term, at the option of Voyager.
