Good Food, Great Company! 🏈❤️

We had a little football fun at the bank! 🏈 Our team enjoyed a delicious spread, along with plenty of smiles, laughs, and good fellowship.

We’re thankful for a team that knows how to work hard and enjoy a little time together! ❤️

A big thank-you to Jameson’s for helping make our gathering extra delicious! 🍔🍪🥗

The Commercial Bank of Ozark is proud to support Cami Spivey, Miss Ozark, and her passion for making a difference in our community.

We were honored to present Cami with a $1,000 donation to Check to Protect, which she will proudly donate to the American Cancer Society.

Cami’s dedication to raising awareness, encouraging early detection, and supporting those affected by cancer is truly inspiring. We are grateful for the opportunity to stand behind her mission and help turn her platform into meaningful action.

At The Commercial Bank of Ozark, we believe that when we invest in the people and causes that make our community stronger, we all make a difference. 💗

We are proud to support Cami and the important work she is doing through Check to Protect! 🎗️

To keep your checks safe from "washing"—a scam where thieves use chemicals to erase the ink and steal your money—the best defense is to switch to electronic payments like ACH or your bank's online bill pay. If you must write a physical check, follow these simple and highly effective steps:

• Use a Gel Pen: Regular ballpoint pen ink is easy for thieves to wash off with acetone. Always use a black gel pen (like a Uni-ball Signo or Pilot G2), as the gel ink sinks into the paper fibers and heavily resists chemical washing.

• Mail it Securely: Never leave checks sitting in an unattended home mailbox or a standalone blue USPS drop box. Always hand-deliver your checks to the intended recipient, or take them directly inside the post office to drop in a secure indoor slot.

• Fill All Empty Space: Scammers add extra numbers or names to blank spots on checks. Always fill out every line completely. On the "Pay to the Order of" line, draw a continuous line straight to the end. In the dollar box, draw a clear line right after writing your amount.

• Monitor Your Account: Keep a close, frequent watch on your bank transactions. View the digital images of your cleared checks via your online banking to ensure the payee and amount haven't been altered.
