Medicare Tip of the Day.

Have a Medicare Prescription Drug Plan?
Have you ever gone to your pharmacy and had them tell you your prescription requires a PA or Prior Authorization?

Prior Authorization is an approval that your Medicare drug plan is requiring your doctor to get before your prescription will be covered by your plan. Your Medicare drug plan may require prior authorization for certain drugs. This is NOT the same as a medication not being on the plan's formulary.
