Introducing Gary Claybrook, Treasury Management Officer

“I’m from Henderson County and I’ve been married to Karla for 33 years. We have two adult children, Spencer and Meredith and son-in-law, Cole. We’re excited to recently become grandparents to a two-month-old grandson, Baker.

I’ve always enjoyed being outdoors and staying involved in the things my family enjoys, whether that’s sports, horseback riding, or simply spending time together. I’m looking forward to being just as involved in whatever interests Baker discovers as he grows up.

I’ve been a banker for more than 30 years, and one of the things I’ve enjoyed most throughout my career is building relationships and being someone my team members and customers can depend on. I’m an Accredited ACH Professional (AAP), and I look forward to using my experience to help businesses throughout our community succeed.

I’ve been fortunate to work alongside many talented people throughout my career, and I have to say that the team at Cornerstone is among the most experienced and dedicated I’ve had the opportunity to work with. I’m excited about what we can accomplish together and the opportunity we have to build something special right here in Daviess and surrounding counties.

With nearly four decades in banking, I've built my career around helping clients grow, succeed, and navigate important financial decisions with confidence.

I specialize in commercial and agricultural lending and truly enjoy building lasting relationships with the people and businesses in our community.

For Andrew, it’s simple: Faith. Family. Sports. Community.

Born and raised in Owensboro, Andrew is proud to call this community home. A proud graduate from Owensboro Catholic High School and Brescia University, where he was later inducted into the Athletics Hall of Fame, Andrew continued his professional education through the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado.

Andrew is a proud husband to Brittany and girl dad to Kensington and Kollinsworth. Outside of the Bank, he remains a lifelong sports fan and continues to share that passion by coaching girls varsity basketball at Owensboro Catholic.

Banking has always been a part of Andrew’s life.

“As a third-generation banker, I grew up watching and learning from the people who came before me. Being a banker is about so much more than money, it’s about being a friend, a neighbor and someone people know they can count on. Relationships are at the heart of everything we do, it’s about understanding what matters, being a partner and having a team in your corner along the way.”

As Market President of Kentucky’s newest bank, Andrew brings more than 15 years of experience, leadership, and hometown connection to a new chapter in Owensboro banking.

His commitment to Owensboro extends well beyond banking. Andrew serves with the GOEDC Board of Directors, Visit Owensboro, OMPC Board of Adjustments, Home Builders Association and Owensboro Museum of Science and History.
