Celebrating 1 year with Ari Naranbaatar as a Senior Statutory Accountant, and 2 years with Lewer overall! 🥳

Over the past year, Ari has fully immersed herself in Lewer Life Insurance and the statutory world, helped lead our transition to a new accounting system, and is crushing her CPA exams, 3 of 4 down.

She also took home our 2025 Kaizen Award, which says a lot about who she is and how she works.

When we asked Ari what she loves about working here, she said the “good vibes” make coming in enjoyable. We think she’s a pretty big part of those vibes! 💜

Kelsey Lamoureux is celebrating 7 years with Lewer Companies this week, and wow, what a seven years it’s been!

Kelsey revamped the onboarding and renewal document process for Ingle Lewer clients and it worked so well, our US companies adopted it too.

She’s a solution-finder, an answer-getter, and the backbone of Ingle Lewer.
Oh, and a 2026 Leader of the Year! 💜

Last week, members of the Lewer Companies team attended Spring for Seton, a fundraising evening benefiting Seton Center, Inc.

Seton Center serves nearly 5,800 neighbors each year through full-service dental care, food assistance, and social services that address the root causes of poverty.

Their work is simple and profound: helping people who feel invisible feel seen, heard, and valued.

Every journey has a starting point. Who was yours?

The Lewer Global “Your Journey Begins” Scholarship Contest is back, and this summer we’re awarding 6 students $2,500 each to help fund their study abroad experience.

This year’s theme: Spotlight someone who’s influenced your journey.

A mentor, a parent, a global icon, a hometown hero — whoever shifted your direction or sparked something in you. Share their story your way:

🎬 Video or short film
✍️ Essay or poem
🎨 Visual art or mixed media
🎵 Original song or mixtape

To be eligible, you must be:

A full-time U.S. citizen enrolled at a U.S. post-secondary institution planning to study abroad in Fall 2026 or Winter, Spring, or Summer 2027.

📅 Application deadline: July 31, 2026

🏆 Winners announced the week of September 21, 2026

We’re taking the day off today, and it’s not just any day.

May 1st is DC Lewer Day, and this year it falls on Chuck’s actual birthday.

DC “Chuck” Lewer founded The Lewer Agency in 1956 at just 28 years old, driven by what he called “vim, vigor, and vitality.”

He grew up working a dairy farm during the Great Depression, hitchhiked to California at 18, proposed to the love of his life via postcard, and built an international organization from the ground up, all rooted in ethics, hard work, and genuine service to others.

He was known to drive hundreds of miles just to personally deliver a life insurance check to a grieving spouse. That’s the kind of person Chuck was.

His legacy lives on in the values we still operate by today: passion, discipline, selflessness, and perseverance.

Happy birthday, Chuck. We celebrate you. 🎂

Three years with LewerMark Student Insurance and Ben Gillespie has made every one of them count. 🎉

Ben is a Client Advocacy Advisor who works with international students and campus partners to help them navigate health coverage with confidence.

He’s known for showing up fully in every conversation, the kind of person who makes you feel like you’re the only one in the room.

It’s a quality that matters deeply in the work he does, especially during the transitional moments clients sometimes face.

Ben has been recognized for the steady, attentive support he provides during exactly those times.

And on a personal note, Ben recently got engaged! 🤗

Congratulations to him on a big year inside and outside of work.
