NAIOP is now the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, a name that better reflects the impact of more than 21,000 members across North America who are shaping the future of commercial real estate and strengthening communities every day.

Here in Tampa Bay, we’re proud to be part of that impact.
Through advocacy, education, and meaningful connections, NAIOP Tampa Bay brings together the professionals who are developing the places where we live, work, shop, innovate, and thrive. From industrial and office to healthcare, retail, hospitality, multifamily, and mixed-use developments, our members are helping shape the future of our region.

The City of Tampa continues to advance updates to its Land Development Code, a comprehensive effort to modernize development regulations, improve clarity, and better align the city’s policies with Tampa’s continued growth.

Exciting to see continued investment in the future of downtown Tampa. Congratulations to our friends at Ally Capital Group and Banyan Street Capital on the acquisition and recapitalization of Rivergate Tower (), one of Tampa’s most iconic skyline landmarks.

The partnership plans to invest $8 million in upgrades focused on enhancing the tower experience, connectivity to the Riverwalk, and the continued vibrancy of downtown Tampa. Always encouraging to see groups committed to the long term growth and evolution of our urban core.
