After five years at Rivermark, Member Relationship Advisor Telicia is still impressed with the services available to the community.

"I love the Financial Wellness options Rivermark has to offer to our members," she explains. "The fact that we teach financial literacy (for free!) and customize it to our members is amazing."

Telicia, who is currently working her way through her Associate's degree, says she's always learning on the job, as well, citing the intimate knowledge of consumer lending, banking technology, and application services that she's gained since she started in 2021.

When she's not helping members reach their financial goals, Telicia is home with her husband and their pets — one dog and one cat — working on one of her many hobbies, including playing the viola, reading, gardening, bow shooting, hiking, and crocheting.

If you've got spare wipes, leftover cloth diapers, or a tube of unopened rash cream sitting in the cupboard, this is your chance to clear up some space and help wipe out diaper insecurity!

Rivermark's annual Diaper Drive, which benefits PDX Diaper Bank and Washington Gorge Action Programs, wraps up this week! Which means you've only got a few days to make your donations and help our neighbors take care of themselves and their loved ones.

Bring any of the following items to your nearest branch before Wednesday, October 15:
• Disposable diapers- all ages and sizes, including partial packages
• Cloth diapers- new and pre-owned
• Adult incontinence supplies- briefs, pads, bed pads, etc.
• Rash cream and powder
• Wipes

Reminder to our members, Rivermark will be closed on Monday, October 12, in celebration and observance of Indigenous Peoples' Day.

As a community credit union located on historically Indigenous land and directly serving the people of numerous tribes, this is an especially important moment for our community.

We encourage all of our members, neighbors, and residents of the region to take this opportunity to reflect on our shared history, learn about the enormous contributions of the Pacific Northwest's myriad Indigenous tribes and individuals, and support their ongoing pursuits toward recognition and equity.

If you’ve been meaning to donate to Rivermark’s fall Diaper Drive, now’s your chance to scoot to a branch. You’ve got ONE WEEK left to help us wipe our diaper insecurity!

Donations from branches will go to PDX Diaper Bank (except for donations made in The Dalles, where we’re working with Washington Gorge Action Programs) and will directly help support low-income families with young children, older adults, and individuals with disabilities.

We are accepting the following donations:
• Disposable diapers- all ages and sizes, including partial packages
• Cloth diapers- new and pre-owned
• Adult incontinence supplies- briefs, pads, bed pads, etc.

• Wipes

In the five years since she started with Rivermark, Ashlea has helped countless members across multiple roles. From her first position in our contact center to her current role as an Account Solutions Specialist, she's a person who can find answers and come up with a plan forward.

It's not surprising that she's good at coming up with solutions; as a PTA member and both a soccer AND lacrosse mom, she's pretty great at balancing a lot of ideas and needs at once!

Every day brings a new puzzle to solve and a new person to help, which is what Ashlea says she loves most about her job.

"The most exciting thing about my role is helping members and the team I work with," she says, adding that the reason she likes Rivermark, specifically, is because "we see members as real people going through real situations and not just another number."

As a Real Estate Loan Servicing Specialist II, you'll provide comprehensive servicing support across our real estate loan portfolio, including first and second lien mortgages, home equity loans, mobile home loans, and subordination requests. You'll handle everything from payment history audits and corrections to lien releases, fixed conversions, and quality control resolution, all with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- A minimum of three years of experience in a real estate lending role
- A minimum of one year of real estate loan servicing experience
- Thorough knowledge of how mortgage loan products function
- Ability to interpret and apply operational and lending policies

💵 Salary range: $28.38 - $39.03 Hourly

When fresh, healthy food is available and affordable, everyone benefits. This fall, we’re helping to make that happen by sponsoring SNAP Market Match at Vancouver Farmers Market.

SNAP Market Match is a free program at Vancouver Farmers Market that doubles the purchasing power of SNAP shoppers.

SNAP customers visit the Market Information Booth, swipe their EBT card for the amount they'd like to spend, and receive a dollar-for-dollar match in free vouchers, up to $25 per day. Those vouchers can be used to purchase fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, mushrooms, and edible plant starts directly from local farmers and food businesses.

Rivermark Community Credit Union’s contribution is filling a critical funding gap, ensuring that the full $25 match remains available to SNAP customers at the farmers market through the end of the year.

By supporting Market Match, we’re not only providing access to produce and plant starts for members of the community, we’re also helping the local growers whose family farms feed us and the friendly folks who work at the Market every weekend.

It’s a great way to help our members stretch their dollars, support local businesses, and feel connected to the community.
