Welcome to the Theta Phi Alpha, Chi website! Theta Phi Alpha was founded in 1912 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and established at Creighton University in 1952. Creighton is a Jesuit University in Omaha, Nebraska, and it is our current home today! As ladies of TPA we hold strong values that shape our character and impact those around us. These values are justice, wisdom, loyalty, faith, truth, and honor.
We recognize their importance to our success as a fratnernity and are always striving to better ourselves through them. Additionally, we value friendship and sisterhood which provide us with the special bonds that make for lasting relationships. Theta Phi Alpha's goal is to contribute to and to care for the community, placing an emphasis on those less fortunate then us. To reach this goal Theta Phi Alpha works through three philanthropies. First is the Theta Phi Alpha Foundation, which manages all of TPA's educational and philanthropic events, and provides scholarships to sisters in need. Second is the Glenmary Home Missioners, an organization supporting depressed areas in the United States, primarily in the Appalachian Mountains. Lastly, The House that Theta Phi Alpha Built is based on the great cause to help the homeless. At Creighton, the women of TPA hold annual sand volleyball and dodgeball tournaments to support these philanthropies. We also do individual service among the Omaha community. Thank you for visiting our page! We hope you enjoy it!
